Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon

Ascension Medical Group is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join its surgical team in Austin, TX. ### What you'll do - Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care, including operative and non-operative management of musculoskeletal injuries - Apply advanced diagnostic and treatment skills to complex trauma cases - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care across the continuum - Participate in quality improvement initiatives focused on patient outcomes and operational efficiency - Contribute to the development and refinement of clinical protocols within the trauma service ### What we're looking for - Board certification or board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery - Fellowship training in orthopedic trauma strongly preferred - Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Demonstrated experience managing high-acuity musculoskeletal trauma cases - Commitment to collaborative, team-based clinical practice ### What's included - Compensation and benefits details available upon application - Ascension Medical Group offers a comprehensive benefits package typical of a large health system ### About the practice Ascension Medical Group is the employed physician group of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the United States.
