Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon

Ascension Medical Group is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join its clinical team in Austin, TX. ### What you'll do - Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic trauma injuries across the full spectrum of complexity - Perform operative and non-operative management of fractures and musculoskeletal trauma - Participate in academic programs, including teaching and case conferences - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive orthopedic care - Provide on-call coverage as required by the department ### What we're looking for - Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery - Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma preferred - Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Demonstrated clinical competency in the surgical management of traumatic orthopedic injuries - Strong interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interaction ### What's included - Compensation details available upon application - Full benefits package through Ascension Medical Group - Support for CME participation - Malpractice coverage provided ### About the practice Ascension Medical Group is the employed physician arm of Ascension, one of the largest nonprofit health systems in the United States.
