About the Community
Joshua Tree sits at the edge of Joshua Tree National Park in San Bernardino County — one of Southern California's most distinctive high-desert communities, known for its dramatic landscapes, dark-sky stargazing, and a thriving arts scene that draws residents and visitors from across the region. The area offers a low-density, outdoor-oriented lifestyle with easy access to Palm Springs, the broader Coachella Valley, and the greater Los Angeles metro roughly two hours to the west. Cost of living is favorable relative to coastal Southern California, and the region's year-round sunshine and proximity to world-class hiking, climbing, and desert recreation make it a compelling destination for clinicians who value both professional purpose and quality of life.
