Piedmont Newton Medical Center in Covington, Georgia is recruiting a full-time Hospitalist physician to join an established, integrated Hospital Medicine program at this 97-bed acute care community hospital located 30 minutes from Atlanta. The position features a clean 7-on/7-off block schedule, a closed ICU model, and the operational advantage of co-managed Emergency Medicine and Hospital Medicine departments under the same group — a structure that produces genuine care-transition efficiency and collegial synergy. Qualifications

  • Board certification or board eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine or Family Medicine residency
  • Active Georgia medical license or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Comfort managing a general acute care census of 18–22 patients per day in a community hospital setting
