<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Assigned to the Telemetry Unit as the designated clinical nursing expert and practice leader for that service line</li> <li>Dotted-line reporting to the Director of PBHN Clinical Education, with close coordination alongside Nursing Unit Leadership and PBHN Clinical Educators</li> <li>Assesses and diagnoses specific practice gaps among unit nurses; designs and delivers targeted clinical interventions to address those gaps</li> <li>Serves as the primary clinical resource for new graduate nurses, preceptors, experienced new-hire nurses, and Nurse Externs throughout onboarding and orientation</li> <li>Coaches, teaches, role-models, and mentors bedside staff to achieve and sustain a culture of clinical excellence</li> <li>Facilitates and validates bedside clinical competencies across the nursing staff</li> <li>Ensures continuity between clinical practice and standards of care across domains including Infection Prevention, Patient Safety, and Patient Experience</li> <li>Utilizes and teaches evidence-based practice to advance the clinical development of caregivers at all experience levels</li> <li>Collaborates cross-disciplinarily to strengthen quality of care at the bedside</li> <li>Part of a large regional health system with 65 hospitals and approximately 510 outpatient centers, providing access to subspecialty resources and system-wide best practices</li> </ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license required</li> <li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited nursing program required; Master's degree in Nursing (clinical specialization or clinical education focus) preferred</li> <li>Minimum three (3) years of acute hospital-based nursing experience in a specialty area, with telemetry experience strongly aligned to this role</li> <li>Prior experience as a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), Clinical Educator, or in a supervisory nursing role preferred</li> <li>Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</li> <li>Current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required</li> </ul>
