Practice Highlights
- PRN (per diem) Med-Surg RN role with shift-based patient assignments
- Direct clinical care responsibilities including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care for assigned patients each shift
- Supervision of staff to whom appropriate care is delegated; accountability to CNO for quality, safety, and resource management
- Medication administration per hospital policy with adherence to safety, risk management, QI, and infection control standards
- Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) participation during emergencies and disaster response
- Facility has served the East Texas community for nearly 50 years with a strong multi-specialty service line portfolio
- Active service lines include: obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology (cardiac catheterization lab and electrophysiology), cancer care, neuroscience (Brainlab technology and stroke treatment), and bariatric/weight loss surgery

Qualifications
- Graduate of a state-approved or accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current, active Texas RN license (or eligibility to obtain) required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), PALS, and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
- Recent acute care experience preferred
