About the Community

El Paso sits at the westernmost tip of Texas, bordered by New Mexico and the Rio Grande — a vibrant, bicultural city of nearly 700,000 with a low cost of living, abundant sunshine, and a strong sense of community. The Franklin Mountains State Park offers hiking and outdoor recreation right within city limits, while the broader region provides easy access to White Sands National Park, Carlsbad Caverns, and the cultural richness of the U.S.-Mexico border corridor. El Paso consistently ranks among the safest large cities in the country and offers an affordable, family-friendly lifestyle that is difficult to match in larger metro areas.
