Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Five or more years of experience in a physician practice setting preferred
  • Completion of a Medical Office Assistant program preferred
  • Healthcare management or administration certification preferred
  • EMR/EHR experience required; NextGen or Athena experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in a Windows environment with working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, and internet-based tools required
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt within a complex, matrixed organizational structure
