Abrazo West Campus in Goodyear, Arizona is recruiting a Chief Nursing Officer to serve as the senior nursing executive at a 216-bed acute care hospital and 24-bed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility that is one of the Phoenix metro's most clinically complex community hospitals. This is a C-suite role with 24/7 accountability for all nursing and designated patient care services across a Level I Trauma Center, Interventional Stroke Center, and cardiac receiving center that collectively sees more than 80,000 emergency patients annually. The position carries governing board representation and direct influence over strategic planning, quality, workforce development, and clinical operations in one of the fastest-growing metropolitan areas in the country.

Qualifications
- Minimum five years of progressive nursing management experience at the Associate Chief Nursing Officer or Nursing Director level, overseeing multiple complex nursing departments in a facility setting
- Academic degree in nursing required; post-graduate degree in Nursing, Health Administration, Business, Public Health, or Management also required
- Active, current Registered Nurse license in the state of Arizona (or eligibility to obtain) required
- CENP (Certified Executive Nursing Practice) or NEA-BC (Nurse Executive Advanced — Board Certified) certification preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in regulatory compliance: TJC standards, state Nurse Practice Act, federal and state healthcare regulations, and CMS Conditions of Participation
- Proven track record in workforce planning, nurse recruitment and retention, staff development, and succession planning
- Strong labor relations background and financial acumen including budget development, capital planning, and labor expense management
- Experience leading EMR adoption and clinical information system implementation in an acute care environment
