About the Community
San Antonio is the second-largest city in Texas and the seventh-largest in the United States, offering an exceptional quality of life at a cost of living well below comparable major metros. The city blends deep cultural heritage — anchored by the River Walk, the Alamo, and a vibrant culinary scene — with strong public and private school options, abundant outdoor recreation along the Hill Country corridor, and easy access to Austin (roughly 80 miles north). For clinicians relocating from higher-cost markets, San Antonio delivers urban amenities, a warm climate, and no state income tax.
