Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program, OR current Medical Assistant certification, OR a minimum of three years of relevant experience in a healthcare setting
- CPR certification required
- Formal Medical Assistant certification preferred (not required if diploma or experience threshold is met)
- Demonstrated competency with clinical tasks including injections, venipuncture, and point-of-care lab testing
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, infection control protocols, and personal protective equipment standards
