Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire
- Two years of acute care experience preferred; prior clinical experience in med/surg, telemetry, or ICU is a plus — new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire (American Red Cross or American Heart Association); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the role
- Compliance with applicable federal, state, and/or local vaccination requirements, or approved religious or medical exemption with agreement to regular testing per applicable law
