<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required</li> <li>Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program required; three years of relevant healthcare work experience accepted in lieu of diploma</li> <li>Current Medical Assistant certification accepted as an alternative pathway to meet the experience/education requirement</li> <li>MA diploma from an accredited school plus at least one year of relevant work experience is strongly preferred</li> <li>Medical Assistant certification preferred (not required at hire)</li> <li>Current CPR/BLS certification required</li> <li>Compliance with HIPAA privacy standards and federal/state healthcare regulations required</li> </ul>
