Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Active Texas State Registered Nurse (RN) license required at time of hire
  • No prior experience required for the Med/Surg unit — new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply
  • Two years of acute care experience preferred for the Med/Surg setting
  • Active Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at hire (ARC or AHA accepted); AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire
  • E-Verify participation required; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States
