Delray Medical Center — a 536-bed, state-designated Level I Trauma Center in Delray Beach, Florida — is recruiting a Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist to join its inpatient pharmacy team. This is a rotating per diem position embedded within a full-service acute care campus that spans 30 acres and supports over 700 physicians across advanced cardiac, vascular, neuroscience, orthopedic, emergency, and behavioral health service lines. The role carries genuine clinical weight: pharmacists here are active collaborators with physicians and nursing staff, not dispensary-only practitioners.

  • Continuing education maintained in compliance with Florida state law and hospital policy

Qualifications

  • Current Florida Pharmacist license required
  • Minimum education: BS in Pharmacy; PharmD degree preferred
  • Minimum experience: prior hospital pharmacy experience required
  • Preferred: three or more years of acute care hospital pharmacy experience
  • Proficiency in age- and disease-specific dosage screening, drug interaction identification, and clinical drug monitoring
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
