Delray Medical Center, a 536-bed state-designated Level I Trauma Center in Delray Beach, Florida, is recruiting a certified Patient Care Technician (PCT) for its Float Pool on a per diem, day-shift basis. This role supports RNs and LPNs across a high-acuity acute care campus that has served southern Palm Beach County for more than 40 years, offering direct exposure to a broad range of specialty service lines within a large, well-resourced hospital system.

  • Day-shift, per diem schedule with flexibility to vary hours to meet departmental needs
  • Direct collaboration with RNs and LPNs in patient care delivery, data gathering, and care implementation
  • Adherence to Standard Precautions, isolation protocols, and age-specific care across varied patient populations

Qualifications

  • Current Florida Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license — required
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification — required
  • High school diploma or equivalent — required
  • Formal Certified Nurse Aide training — preferred
  • Prior experience in acute care or direct patient care settings — preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work across varied age-specific patient populations in a high-acuity environment
