<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Ambulatory physician office setting serving patients of all ages across primary and specialty care disciplines</li> <li>Direct clinical support role working under physician direction — vital signs, history intake, medication reconciliation, visual acuity assessment, and chief-complaint documentation</li> <li>Administers oral medications; performs intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal injections</li> <li>Performs venipuncture and both CLIA-Waived and non-CLIA-Waived laboratory testing</li> <li>Prepares equipment and assists physicians during exams, treatments, and procedures</li> <li>Manages instrument cleaning, sterilization, and storage; maintains exam room stock and supply inventory</li> <li>Coordinates specialist referrals, diagnostic testing appointments, and insurance pre-certification for ordered procedures and surgeries</li> <li>Supports front-desk functions including phone coverage, appointment scheduling, patient check-out, and referral processing</li> <li>Completes all clinical documentation in the patient medical record per practice charting policy</li> <li>Occasional local travel to support other network clinic locations</li> </ul>

<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required</li> <li>Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program, OR three (3) years of relevant healthcare work experience in lieu of a diploma or current MA certification — one of these pathways is required</li> <li>Preferred: accredited Medical Assistant diploma plus at least one (1) year of relevant clinical experience</li> <li>Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program preferred</li> <li>Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required</li> <li>Ability to travel locally between clinic sites as needed</li> </ul>
