Qualifications

  • Active Arizona RN license required, or eligibility to obtain prior to start
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in emergency or trauma nursing; minimum 1 year of supervisory experience required
  • Preferred: 5 years of related experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity, including prior trauma program leadership or coordination
  • Current Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required
  • Preferred certifications: Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN), Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), or CCRN
  • Demonstrated competency in team building, systems thinking, data analysis, change management, conflict resolution, coaching and mentoring, and strategic planning
  • Working knowledge of ACS trauma standards and trauma registry processes strongly preferred
