About this role
The Trauma Program Manager oversees daily operations of the trauma program at Texas Health Hospital Mansfield, a faith-based acute care facility in Mansfield, Texas.
### What you'll do
- Oversee daily trauma program operations to ensure optimal care for injured patients
- Supervise trauma performance improvement and patient safety activities alongside the Trauma Medical Director
- Prepare and facilitate monthly trauma performance improvement committee meetings
- Identify educational needs of nursing staff and deliver targeted training with department leadership
- Collaborate with nursing and patient care departments to manage trauma patient and family care processes
- Support community outreach and injury prevention initiatives at local, regional, and national levels
### What we're looking for
- Active RN license in Texas (required)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (required); Master of Science in Nursing (preferred)
- 5+ years of trauma program, emergency, or critical care nursing experience (required)
- 2+ years of leadership experience (preferred)
- Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
- TNCC or CATN certification (preferred); experience with trauma registry and coding (preferred)
