Practice Highlights

  • Primary responsibility is processing and responding to legal requests: attorney billing, affidavits, depositions, and subpoenas, with direct attorney follow-up as needed to meet state-mandated deadlines

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required; some college coursework preferred
  • 2–3 years of experience in a healthcare, legal, or business office environment
  • Working knowledge of healthcare terminology and intermediate familiarity with the healthcare industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; excellent listening and organizational abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to research independently, manage multiple tasks, and learn new systems quickly
  • Prior experience with ACE, Epic, STAR, or Meditech systems is a plus
  • Customer service orientation with the ability to interact professionally with attorneys and third parties
