About the Community

Worcester is Massachusetts' second-largest city — a vibrant, diverse urban center with a lower cost of living than Boston while remaining approximately 45 miles west along the I-90 corridor. The city is home to multiple colleges and universities, a growing restaurant and arts scene, and easy access to both the Berkshires and the New England coast. For clinicians seeking an engaged urban community with genuine affordability and strong regional connectivity, Worcester is a compelling alternative to the Boston metro.
