About the Community

Worcester is Massachusetts' second-largest city, offering an urban lifestyle with a significantly lower cost of living than Boston — located just 45 miles to the east via I-90. The city is home to a robust academic and medical community, a thriving restaurant and arts scene, and easy access to the outdoor recreation of central New England. Families benefit from strong public and private school options, and the region's density of colleges and universities creates a culturally rich, intellectually engaged environment well suited to clinicians at any career stage.
