Practice Highlights
- Full-time nights position on a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) — intermediate-acuity nursing with a focused, high-accountability patient population
- Direct clinical care responsibilities including per-shift assessment, planning, and implementation of individualized patient care plans
- Oversight and supervision of staff to whom care is appropriately delegated each shift
- Medication administration in compliance with hospital policy, with emphasis on safety and timeliness
- Adherence to established standards in safety, risk management, quality improvement, and infection control
- Active participation in Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) responsibilities during emergencies and disaster events

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (required); Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred
- Current, active Texas RN license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of practice
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and/or PALS and/or NRP required if applicable per corporate policy for the unit of hire
- Recent acute care nursing experience preferred; PCU or step-down experience is a strong asset
