Practice Highlights

  • Multi-specialty physician practice group focused on comprehensive, patient-centered ambulatory care
  • Clinical duties include taking vital signs, obtaining patient history, medication reconciliation, visual acuity assessment, and documenting chief complaint
  • Administers prescribed oral medications and performs intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal injections
  • Performs venipuncture and both CLIA-Waived and non-CLIA-Waived laboratory testing
  • Prepares equipment and directly assists physicians during medical treatments, exams, and procedures
  • Coordinates specialized consultations, referral scheduling, and pre-certification of surgeries and diagnostic tests with insurance carriers
  • Maintains exam room readiness: cleaning, sterilizing, and storing instruments; stocking rooms; managing medical supply inventory
  • Supports front-desk operations including answering phones, scheduling appointments, directing calls, and assisting with patient check-out and referral processing
  • Occasional local travel to support other clinic locations within the network
  • Practice is committed to quality, safety, and service excellence as a regional leader in patient-centered care

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited Medical Assisting program preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience accepted in lieu of formal education
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred (required in select markets); CPR certification required
  • Minimum of one year of experience working in a physician office setting
  • Ability and willingness to travel locally on an occasional basis to support other clinic sites
