Practice Highlights

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Active Texas State Registered Nurse license required at time of hire
- No prior nursing experience required; two years of acute care experience (med/surg, telemetry, or ICU) is preferred
- Active healthcare provider BLS certification (ARC or AHA) required on hire; AHA Healthcare Provider BLS must be obtained within 60 days of hire
- AHA ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire for Telemetry placement; completion before the end of the orientation period is strongly encouraged
