  • Coordinates specialist referrals, diagnostic testing appointments, and insurance pre-certification for ordered procedures and surgeries
  • Supports front-desk operations including phone coverage, appointment scheduling, patient check-out, and referral processing
  • Maintains clean, stocked, and OSHA-compliant exam rooms; sterilizes and stores instruments per practice protocols
  • Collaborative, team-oriented environment with a strong patient-centered culture across the affiliated network

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program, or equivalent relevant work experience in lieu of formal education
  • Medical Assistant certification preferred; required in select departments — candidates have up to 90 days from start date to obtain certification if not already held
  • Current CPR/BLS certification required
  • Minimum one year of experience in a physician office setting strongly preferred
  • Proof of vaccination or approved religious/medical exemption required in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local mandates; unvaccinated employees with approved exemptions are subject to regular testing
