- Procedural scope includes oral medication administration, IM/subcutaneous/intradermal injections, venipuncture, and both CLIA-waived and non-CLIA-waived laboratory testing
- Responsible for complete and accurate medical record documentation in accordance with practice charting policy
- Coordinates specialist referrals, diagnostic testing appointments, and insurance pre-certification for ordered procedures and surgeries
- Supports front-desk operations including phone coverage, appointment scheduling, patient check-out, and referral processing
- Maintains clean, stocked, and OSHA-compliant exam rooms; sterilizes and stores instruments per practice protocols

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assisting Program, or equivalent relevant work experience in lieu of formal education
- Medical Assistant certification preferred; required in select departments — candidates have up to 90 days from start date to obtain certification if not already held
- Current CPR/BLS certification required
- Minimum one year of experience in a physician office setting strongly preferred
- Proof of vaccination or approved religious/medical exemption required in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local mandates; unvaccinated employees with approved exemptions are subject to regular testing
