Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Completion of a nursing assistant program required
- Current Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required; if Red Cross certification is held at hire, American Heart Association BLS must be obtained within 60 days
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification required within 90 days of hire or transfer
- No prior experience required; 6 months of acute care and/or clinical experience preferred
- Prior clerical or customer service experience with Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) training in a clinical setting preferred
- Ability to operate computer-driven patient care equipment; effective interpersonal and communication skills
