Practice Highlights

  • Outpatient medical office setting within a distinguished regional physician network serving patients across the Fort Mill area
  • Direct clinical support role working alongside physicians and other healthcare providers in a structured, team-based environment
  • Patient intake responsibilities include vital signs, medical history, medication reconciliation, visual acuity assessment, and chief complaint documentation

  • Coordinates specialist referrals, diagnostic testing appointments, and insurance pre-certification for ordered procedures and surgeries

  • Practice philosophy centers on patient-centered, two-way communication and long-term patient-provider relationships

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program, OR a current Medical Assistant certification, OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare experience in lieu of formal MA training
  • Preferred: MA diploma from an accredited school plus at least 1 year of relevant clinical work experience
  • Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical records documentation practices expected
  • Comfort with infection control protocols, PPE requirements, and exposure to blood-borne and potentially infectious materials
