Practice Highlights

- Coordinates specialist referrals, diagnostic testing appointments, and insurance pre-certification for ordered procedures and surgeries

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant diploma from an accredited program, OR a current Medical Assistant certification, OR a minimum of 3 years of relevant healthcare experience in lieu of formal MA training
- Preferred: MA diploma from an accredited school plus at least 1 year of relevant clinical work experience
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance standards and medical records documentation practices expected
- Comfort with infection control protocols, PPE requirements, and exposure to blood-borne and potentially infectious materials
