A leading healthcare system in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex is seeking a full-time Trauma Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) – Nocturnist to join a high-acuity trauma team in Dallas, TX. This hands-on role offers the opportunity to deliver critical care alongside experienced trauma surgeons in a fast-paced hospital environment serving Level II trauma activations and beyond.

Practice Highlights
- Full-time nocturnist schedule within a collaborative, multidisciplinary trauma surgery team
- Manage Level II trauma activations and assist with higher-acuity cases
- Perform procedures including EFAST, intubation, central and arterial line placement, chest tubes, and laceration repair
- Provide care across the ED, ICU, step-down unit, and trauma floors
- Assist in trauma and acute care surgery cases
- Collaborate closely with trauma surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP/ACNP) or Physician Assistant
- Active Texas license or ability to obtain
- Background in trauma, critical care, emergency medicine, or surgery preferred
- Strong procedural skills and sound clinical decision-making ability
- Comfortable performing effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- BLS required; ACLS, ATLS, and/or FCCS preferred
