<h3>Practice Highlights</h3> <ul> <li>Provides occupational health services across multiple sites or operations, with potential regional or global support responsibilities</li> <li>Acts as subject matter expert (SME) to other health professionals in the provision and documentation of routine, non-routine, and complex occupational health care</li> <li>Determines and communicates Fitness for Work (FFW) status; trains other staff in FFW assessment and case management of work-related injury and illness</li> <li>Manages occupational evaluations, routine and non-routine travel health preparation, and may extend to regional or global travel health support</li> <li>Performs, analyzes, and evaluates health screening data to identify potential workplace exposures; makes management recommendations and develops exposure-reduction programs in collaboration with other health professionals</li> <li>Develops and delivers training programs for external medical service providers to ensure alignment with internal occupational health guidelines</li> <li>Assists in developing guidelines and procedures for Alcohol and Drug Use (ADU) testing programs</li> <li>Develops and refines regional and/or global occupational health policies and procedures in consultation with the broader MOH team</li> <li>Active participant — and potential lead — in MOH and SSHE committees, projects, and global initiatives</li> <li>Drives process improvement initiatives to enhance resource utilization effectiveness across the global MOH function</li> </ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3> <ul> <li>Nursing degree required; Advanced Nursing degree preferred — Physician Assistant or equivalent credential also considered</li> <li>Active RN license in the state(s) of operations supported (Texas licensure required for this position)</li> <li>Detailed working knowledge of occupational medicine, emergency medical response, toxicology, and legal issues relevant to occupational health care</li> <li>Clinical competencies required: case management, clinical testing, exposure assessment and controls, health education and counseling, infectious disease control program management, medication clearance assessment, occupational evaluations, travel health preparation and assessment, and emergency preparedness and response</li> <li>Demonstrated behavioral strengths in analytical thinking, effective communication, courage of conviction, and risk management</li> <li>Familiarity with occupational health laws, regulations, and corporate health standards; experience with medical and research ethics principles a plus</li> </ul>
