About this role
TeamHealth is seeking a Travel Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Clinician (NP or PA) for emergency department coverage in Atlanta, GA.
### What you'll do
- Provide advanced practice clinical care to patients presenting to the emergency department
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and emergent conditions across patient populations
- Collaborate with emergency medicine physicians and department staff to deliver coordinated care
- Document patient encounters accurately within the facility's EMR system
- Travel to assigned facility locations as part of a locum/travel assignment structure
### What we're looking for
- Active NP or PA licensure (state license in Georgia required or ability to obtain)
- Emergency medicine experience in an acute care or ED setting
- Ability to travel and adapt to varying facility environments and workflows
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in fast-paced settings
- DEA registration and BLS/ACLS certification
