A physician-owned, physician-led gastroenterology practice in Richmond, Texas is recruiting a per-diem Inpatient Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide GI coverage at a local acute care hospital. Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
  • Active Texas state NP or PA license and eligibility to obtain hospital privileges
  • Acute Care Certification required for NP applicants (ACNP or AGACNP)
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high-acuity inpatient patients and multiple simultaneous priorities in a collaborative care environment
  • Prior gastrointestinal or hepatology clinical experience preferred
