About the Community

Scottsdale sits within the Greater Phoenix metropolitan area — one of the fastest-growing regions in the country — offering a combination of year-round sunshine, world-class dining and arts, and easy access to outdoor recreation including hiking in the McDowell Sonoran Preserve and day trips to Sedona and the Grand Canyon. The area is home to highly rated public and private schools, a low state income tax environment, and a cost of living that remains competitive relative to other major Sun Belt metros. For physicians relocating from colder climates or high-cost coastal markets, the Phoenix Valley consistently ranks among the most livable destinations in the American Southwest.
