About the Community

Bellevue sits on the eastern shore of Lake Washington, directly across from Seattle, offering the amenities of a major metropolitan area alongside a distinctly livable suburban character — top-rated public schools, low crime, and a thriving dining and arts scene. The greater Eastside corridor is one of the most desirable places to live in the Pacific Northwest, with easy access to the Cascade Mountains for skiing, hiking, and climbing, as well as Puget Sound for boating and waterfront recreation. Cost of living is high relative to national averages, but the absence of a Washington State income tax meaningfully offsets that for high-earning physicians.
