HCA Florida West Hospital in Pensacola, Florida is recruiting a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician to step into an Assistant Medical Director role at a 306-bed acute care facility that operates one of the region's most comprehensive emergency programs. The department features a dedicated pediatric emergency department serving infants, children, and adolescents — a rare standalone pediatric ED in the market — alongside a separate adult ED with specialty-trained physicians, APPs, RNs, technicians, and health unit coordinators. Senior emergency services for geriatric patients round out a genuinely full-spectrum emergency program. The Gulf Coast lifestyle, no state income tax, and a generous sign-on package make this a compelling opportunity for a clinician ready to step into leadership.

About the Community
Pensacola sits on Florida's northwestern Gulf Coast, anchored by some of the most consistently ranked white-sand beaches in the country, including Pensacola Beach and Perdido Key. The region offers year-round outdoor recreation — boating, fishing, hiking, and water sports — combined with a low cost of living relative to other Florida coastal markets and no state income tax. Pensacola's historic downtown, strong school options, and proximity to both Mobile, Alabama and the broader Gulf Coast corridor make it an attractive destination for physicians relocating with families or seeking a high-quality lifestyle outside a major metropolitan center.
