About the Community

Orange City is a small city in Volusia County in central Florida, situated along the St. Johns River corridor and just minutes from DeLand, a vibrant college town with a walkable downtown, dining, and arts scene. The area offers easy access to Daytona Beach, Orlando, and the broader Central Florida region, placing world-class theme parks, international airports, and Atlantic coastline beaches within an hour's drive. Florida's absence of a state income tax, affordable cost of living relative to coastal metros, and year-round warm climate make this a compelling destination for clinicians relocating from higher cost-of-living markets.
