About this role

StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a well-established general GI practice with an adjacent ambulatory surgery center in Hilo, Hawaii. ### What you'll do - Provide full-scope general gastroenterology care to an established patient panel with strong regional demand - Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy at the on-site ambulatory surgery center - Serve as the primary full-time physician gastroenterologist for the practice and surrounding Big Island community - Cultivate and manage an active referral network across the region - Incorporate advanced GI procedures as clinical interest allows — procedural breadth is supported but not required ### What we're looking for - MD or DO from an accredited institution - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology - Active Hawaii medical license or documented eligibility to obtain - Comfort with general GI endoscopy; advanced procedural skills welcomed ### What's included - Salary range: $550,000 – $700,000 (employed position) - Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance - Malpractice coverage with tail protection - 401(k) with employer match - CME allowance with dedicated conference time - Generous PTO, relocation assistance, and sign-on bonus available ### About the practice This is a well-established GI practice on Hawaii's Big Island, serving Hilo and the surrounding region through both outpatient clinical care and an adjacent ambulatory surgery center.
