About this role

A full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon opportunity with StaffMed Health Partners, joining an established cardiovascular program within one of Southern Arizona's largest multi-specialty groups in Tucson, AZ. ### What you'll do - Perform 5–7 cardiothoracic surgeries per week across two hospital facilities, utilizing a hybrid OR and robotic surgical platform. - Manage an outpatient clinic schedule of approximately 12 patients per clinic day, 1–2 days per week. - Collaborate with interventional cardiology, advanced heart valve therapy, and electrophysiology specialists within a multidisciplinary team. - Provide shared, compensated hospital call coverage with one other CT surgeon across two facilities. - Work with dedicated support staff including a practice manager, medical assistant, and surgery scheduler. ### What we're looking for - MD or DO from an accredited institution. - Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery. - 3–5 years of post-training clinical experience preferred. - Active Arizona medical license or eligibility to obtain one. ### What's included - Competitive base salary with productivity incentives. - Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage. - Malpractice insurance with tail protection. - 401(k) with employer match. - CME allowance with dedicated conference time. - Generous PTO, relocation assistance, and sign-on bonus available. ### About the practice StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting on behalf of a physician-led, multi-specialty group of more than 100 providers serving the Southern Arizona region.
