A nationally and internationally recognized Otolaryngology program in the Chicago metropolitan area of Illinois is recruiting a fellowship-trained Rhinologist to join a high-volume, academically driven multidisciplinary team. The practice is anchored within a 509-bed comprehensive stroke center — the largest campus in its health system and one of the largest facilities in Chicago's northern suburbs — where rhinology operates alongside neurosurgery, oculoplastics, and head and neck oncology at a level rarely available outside major academic medical centers. Practice Highlights

  • Advanced endoscopic surgical caseload including primary and revision endoscopic sinus surgery, CSF leak repairs, frontal sinus drill-outs, orbital and optic nerve decompressions, and endoscopic skull base tumor resections (transclival and transpterygoid approaches)
  • Complex pathology exposure: sinonasal malignancies, skull base tumors, pituitary disorders, and hereditary hemorrhagic telangiectasia (HHT)
  • Extensive cross-specialty collaboration with neurosurgery, oculoplastics, and head and neck oncology / microvascular reconstruction
  • 509-bed campus designated as a comprehensive stroke center and the flagship facility within its health system
  • Neurosciences Institute actively expanding to integrate a full suite of physicians and providers, with state-of-the-art ORs equipped with the latest innovative intraoperative navigation technology
  • Team led by internationally recognized neurosurgeons with expertise spanning brain tumors, spinal surgery, cerebrovascular disease, skull base disease, cranial nerve disorders, facial pain, and general neurology

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree required
  • Board certification or board eligibility in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Rhinology and/or Skull Base Surgery required
  • Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
  • Procedural proficiency expected across the full spectrum of advanced endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery, including revision cases and extended approaches
