About this role
A Pediatric Radiologist is needed to join the team at StaffMed Health Partners' client, a nationally ranked freestanding children's hospital in Detroit, MI.
### What you'll do
- Interpret full-spectrum pediatric imaging — radiographs, ultrasound, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, and fluoroscopy — across approximately 90,000 exams annually at the main campus and satellite locations
- Work an 8 AM–5 PM weekday schedule with 80% on-site presence and the option for periodic at-home reading via provided home PACS
- Participate in a 1:6 equitable call rotation covering weeknights, weekends, and holidays, with resident and fellow overnight backup
- Teach pediatric radiology fellows, radiology residents, and medical students as part of daily clinical activity within an ACGME-accredited fellowship program
- Collaborate with a team of 2–3 on-site pediatric radiologists supported by dedicated Child Life staff and experienced technologists
- Reside within approximately one hour of the hospital to support occasional on-site fluoroscopy needs
### What we're looking for
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with completion of an accredited Pediatric Radiology fellowship
- CAQ in Pediatric Radiology or eligibility to obtain
- Body imaging experience required; fetal imaging experience welcomed
- Michigan medical license or eligibility to obtain
- New graduates and experienced pediatric radiologists both considered

### About the practice
This is a nationally ranked, ACS-verified Level I Pediatric Trauma Center and ACR-accredited in MRI, CT, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound. The department is transitioning to Sectra PACS and operates dual-source 256-slice CT with FLASH technology, multiple MRI magnets, and newly planned fluoroscopy and X-ray suites. Academic appointments are available through multiple affiliated universities, supporting a genuine teaching and scholarly environment.
