StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for a high-volume Level II Trauma Center at a teaching hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. ### What you'll do - Manage a full spectrum of emergency presentations in a 60-bed ED with Fast Track - Support and collaborate with an APP and EM residency clinical team - Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and care coordination - Provide emergency care within designated Centers of Excellence, including Stroke and Chest - Participate in a Magnet-designated hospital environment with advanced clinical infrastructure ### What we're looking for - Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM only) - Active, unrestricted Louisiana medical license and DEA registration - Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications - Comfort operating in a high-volume setting (100,000+ annual visits) ### What's included - Competitive compensation as an independent contractor (1099 status) - Partnership opportunities available for full-time physicians - Access to superb APP and residency clinical support - State-of-the-art facilities and Epic EMR platform ### About the practice This Level II Trauma Center operates one of Louisiana's busiest emergency departments, seeing more than 100,000 patients annually within a prestigious teaching hospital system.
