About this role

A Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician is needed to join a high-acuity pediatric emergency department staffed by StaffMed Health Partners at a leading healthcare organization in Austin, TX. ### What you'll do - Provide full-scope emergency care for pediatric patients in a department seeing approximately 25,000 annual visits - Collaborate with onsite pediatric hospitalists, intensivists, pediatric radiologists, and child life specialists - Work alongside Advanced Practice Providers within the department - Maintain evidence-based clinical practice aligned with current pediatric emergency medicine standards - Participate in clinical leadership, teaching, and academic involvement opportunities ### What we're looking for - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine - ABP or ABEM certification or eligibility required - Commitment to evidence-based pediatric emergency care and team-based collaboration - Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one ### What's included - Competitive employed compensation package with sign-on bonus and annual incentive opportunities - Flexible 12-hour shift schedule averaging approximately 10 shifts per month - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits - Malpractice coverage with tail insurance included - CME allowance and professional development resources - No state income tax in Texas ### About the practice This pediatric emergency department operates within a state-of-the-art facility offering robust subspecialty support and a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
