About this role
A spine-focused neurosurgeon is needed to join an established, growing neurological surgery service at a 161-bed acute care hospital in Nacogdoches, TX, supported by StaffMed Health Partners.
### What you'll do
- Perform neurosurgical procedures with an 80% spine-focused caseload
- Operate within a high-volume practice supported by a strong, built-in referral base
- Utilize on-site ASC, MRI/CT, and cath lab capabilities for surgical and diagnostic care
- Contribute to a Level IV Trauma Center and Designated Primary Stroke Center
- Serve patients across a community of approximately 21,000 patient days and 6,000 admissions per year
- Collaborate with a team of 75 physicians on staff within an active medical community
### What we're looking for
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
- Fellowship training in Spine Surgery preferred but not required
- Commitment to building a community-focused surgical practice
- Team-oriented professional with strong communication and leadership skills
