About this role
A full-time Emergency Medicine Physician is needed at a 178-bed acute care hospital operated through StaffMed Health Partners in Frankfort, KY.
### What you'll do
- Provide emergency care across a 28-room ED with 1 trauma bay and 5 fast-track rooms
- Manage a high-acuity patient mix within a Level III Trauma Center environment
- Treat chest pain and STEMI patients at an Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI capability
- Deliver stroke care within an Accredited Primary Stroke Center
- Collaborate with a well-established emergency medicine team seeing approximately 40,000 visits annually
### What we're looking for
- Board certification or board eligibility through ABEM or AOBEM
- Active Kentucky medical license or eligibility to obtain one
- Experience functioning in a high-volume emergency department setting
- Comfort managing trauma, cardiac, and neurological emergencies
