A full-time Optometrist opportunity with StaffMed Health Partners at a well-established, technology-forward eye care practice in Ellsworth, Maine. ### What you'll do - Practice medical optometry alongside 2 experienced ophthalmologists in a fully equipped 10-room clinical environment - Utilize advanced diagnostic technology including iTrace, Zeiss OCT, Argos biometer, LAL IOL Light Delivery Device, and ORA Wavetec - Support premium IOL services and participate in pre- and post-operative care with access to an on-site ASC - Deliver comprehensive eye care supported by an experienced technician pool and dedicated scribe support - Operate within a referral network built over 29 years of community presence in Downeast Maine ### What we're looking for - Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited institution - Active Maine optometry license or eligibility to obtain licensure - Comfort practicing at the full scope of licensure in a medical optometry setting - Collaborative mindset suited to working alongside ophthalmology colleagues in a high-technology environment ### What's included - Competitive compensation package - Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance - 401(k) with employer match - Malpractice coverage - CME allowance - Generous PTO plus Friday afternoons off - Relocation assistance available ### About the practice This independently operated eye care practice in Ellsworth, Maine has served the Downeast community for 29 years, building a strong referral base and deep patient loyalty.
