GI Physician

A full-time Gastroenterologist is needed to join a 2-physician GI practice within a multispecialty group in Modesto, CA through StaffMed Health Partners. ### What you'll do - Manage a mixed inpatient/outpatient caseload with a daily census of 15–25 patients - Perform general gastroenterology procedures across 4 dedicated procedure rooms with reserved block time - Cover inpatient GI consults and admissions (approximately 50% of clinical time) - Participate in a call schedule of 7 consecutive days (Monday–Sunday) once per month - Collaborate within a larger multispecialty group serving the Central Valley ### What we're looking for - MD or DO from an accredited medical institution - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology - Active California medical license or eligibility to obtain one - Competency in bread-and-butter GI procedures including upper and lower endoscopy ### What's included - Salary range: $451,339–$719,979 based on qualifications, experience, and productivity - Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance - Malpractice coverage with tail protection - 401(k) with employer match - CME allowance with dedicated conference time - Generous PTO, relocation assistance, and sign-on bonus available ### About the practice This is an established, high-volume GI practice with a balanced inpatient/outpatient split and the infrastructure—four procedure rooms with dedicated block time—to support a productive clinical schedule from day one.
