OB Hospitalist

StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a Board Certified OB/GYN physician to join an OB Hospitalist team at a regional medical center in Salisbury, MD. ### What you'll do - Manage labor and delivery across 6–8 twenty-four-hour in-house shifts per month - Provide coverage for unassigned obstetric patients throughout each shift - Deliver in-house general obstetric support with 24/7 anesthesiology and neonatology backup - Collaborate with a dedicated community OB/GYN backup team when needed - Work within a Level III NICU–supported environment with no off-shift obligations ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with Board Certification from ABOG or AOBOG - Active Maryland medical license or demonstrated ability to obtain one - Comfort with on-call and in-house overnight shift responsibilities - Commitment to obstetric-focused hospital medicine (OB only — no GYN, no outpatient clinic) ### What's included - Annual salary: $345,600 – $460,800 - Sign-on bonus: $20,000 (full-time); prorated for part-time - Relocation allowance: up to $25,000 - $100 per-shift stipend - Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits - 401(k) retirement plan, paid time off, and short/long-term disability - Professional liability coverage with tail protection - CME opportunities including clinical drills and simulations ### About the practice This regional medical center serves as the healthcare anchor of Maryland's Eastern Shore, offering a collegial OB Hospitalist model with robust procedural and subspecialty support on site.
