OB/GYN Hospitalist

A regional medical center in Edison, NJ is seeking a Board Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist to join a team managed through StaffMed Health Partners, combining 24-hour inpatient shifts with teaching opportunities in a family medicine residency clinic. ### What you'll do - Cover 6–8 twenty-four-hour in-house hospitalist shifts per month on the labor and delivery and inpatient GYN service - Provide full-scope OB/GYN services during daytime sessions in the affiliated family medicine residency clinic - Manage ED and inpatient GYN consultations referred through the hospitalist team - Support gynecologic surgical cases generated from the clinic - Collaborate directly with certified nurse midwives and nursing staff - Teach medical students and family medicine residents in inpatient and outpatient settings ### What we're looking for - MD or DO with Board Certification through ABOG or AOBOG - Active, current skills across the full breadth of OB/GYN practice - Current New Jersey medical license - Willingness to teach medical students and residency trainees - Collaborative approach to working with CNMs and interdisciplinary nursing teams ### What's included - Hourly compensation of $160/hour - Comprehensive benefits package - Professional liability coverage provided - CME allowance - No billing or coding responsibilities ### About the practice The hiring facility is a regional medical center in Edison, NJ operating an integrated family medicine residency clinic alongside its inpatient OB/GYN service.
