Ortho Trauma Physician

StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for a hospital-employed position at a Level II Trauma Center in Fort Mill / Rock Hill, SC — the only trauma center in York County and part of the growing Charlotte metro area. ### What you'll do - Perform high-acuity orthopedic trauma surgery as the primary inpatient surgical focus - Utilize robotic surgical systems and large, modern ORs - Collaborate with two hospital EDs and a freestanding ED to maintain a full surgical schedule - Provide some outpatient follow-up care alongside core inpatient responsibilities - Work alongside an experienced orthopedic team within an established referral network - Support a trauma center currently upgrading to a higher designation in 2026 ### What we're looking for - MD or DO from an accredited medical institution - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery - Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma (required) - Experienced surgeon preferred - Active South Carolina medical license or eligibility to obtain ### What's included - Competitive salary guarantee with productivity incentives - Comprehensive benefits: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance - Malpractice coverage with tail protection - 401(k) with employer match - CME allowance - Generous PTO - Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus available ### About the practice This Level II Trauma Center — upgrading its designation in 2026 — is the sole trauma facility serving York County, South Carolina, providing consistent surgical volume and strong community need.
