Emergency Medicine NP or PA - Southwest Louisiana

StaffMed Health Partners is recruiting a full-time Emergency Medicine NP or PA for a busy community ED in Southwest Louisiana. ### What you'll do - Evaluate and manage a high-volume patient load averaging 50–60 patients per provider per shift - Deliver acute and emergency care across a 14-bed ED seeing approximately 22,000 visits annually - Work scheduled shifts of 8, 10, or 12 hours within a 120-hour/month full-time model - Operate under 24/7 physician coverage with 12–15 hours/day of APP coverage and double-coverage overlap for additional support - Collaborate closely with attending physicians and the broader ED care team on complex presentations ### What we're looking for - Board-certified NP or PA with an active Louisiana license and prescriptive authority - 1–2 years of emergency medicine or acute care experience - Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications - Demonstrated ability to manage high patient volumes in a fast-paced emergency setting ### What's included - Competitive compensation (W2 employment) - Sign-on bonus - Relocation assistance available - Full benefits package including medical, dental, and retirement - Professional liability insurance provided - Flexible shift scheduling to support work-life balance ### About the practice StaffMed Health Partners places advanced practice providers in community-based emergency departments with strong physician infrastructure.
